Daily Blog #8 - August 6th, 2018
Hey Guys welcome back to my blog, a blog where I will tell you about my activities for today. well, this is my last blog for this week and last blog before mid-test. well without further do, let's start today's blog. well, today I woke up at around 6 am then I prepared myself to campus after finished I then went to the campus with my motorcycle and arrived like usual so then I took out my uniform and wore them. then senior in charge called us in and ask us about today's preparation
Well, today's menu is Indonesian Buffet Menu and today I and my friend got the responsibilities to handle the appetizer which is Rujak mie and Dojang Nakeng. For the rujak mie, the ingredients are Egg Noodles, Egg Tofu, Pineapple, Cucumber, and Dressing. well first I soaked the noodles with warm water until soft then I drained them and set aside to cool down, then I made the dressing which made from Vinegar, Sweet Soy sauce, salt, shallot, and garlic then toss the noodles with the dressing and serve with pineapple and cucumber.
Then we prepared the next appetizer which is dojang nakeng, the prawns are already prepared yesterday. so today we just sauteed the prawns until red and nicely cooked, then we made the dressing by blending chilies, shallots, and garlic then we toss up the prawns and the dressings then plated them onto a cocktail glass with the prepared banana leaf as underliner and garnish with sauteed dried coconut and edible flower. after finished with the preparation we then did general cleaning and then told to go home to rest
