Daily Blog #1 - August 7th, 2018


     Hey guys .. welcome back to my blog, it's been a whole month since my last post, this is a new semester which means new menu, and also fresh new me. this will be my first post for this week and this time I am going to tell you about my activities for today. so I hope you guys are enjoying reading this blog as I do making them and I also hoped that you guys don't get bored. because there will be 3 more blogs is coming up this week. so without further unnecessary introduction sentences, let us get right into the blog.

     Today's activities started at 7 am, I woke up and then prepared myself to go to campus, I finished at around 7.45 am so then I rushed to the campus and arrived at around 8.00 am. so then I ran to the kitchen and I wore my uniform which is an apron, necktie, and blanc savoir, after I wore my uniform, Mr.Jaya then called me and then told me to organize the vegetables in the chiller and then mop up the floor. after I am finished, i then online with my friend and then Mr.jaya came and explained to us our menu today, which is Buffet Menu. It consists of a various selection of continental food, like  Japanese, Chinese, and Thailand Food.

     For lunch service, I got the responsibility to handle the menu 40 Pax of Gai Tod Takrai which is Fried chicken that is marinated with lemongrass and fish sauce. the steps on how to make are that first I took out the chicken that I've already thawed yesterday, and cut it into 8 pieces, after that, I marinated it with crushed lemongrass, garlic, and fish sauce for around 1 hour in the chiller. after 1 hour, I then drenched the chicken with all-purpose flour that I already seasoned with salt and pepper, and then fried it in hot oil until cooked through, after finished frying the chicken, I then glazed the chicken with Thailand Salad Dressing which made from Chili, Cilantro, Fish Sauce and Lime Juice.


     After finished preparing the chicken then I served it on a medium-sized serving tray. and garnished it with fried crushed lemongrass and some lettuce for the underliner. then I then helped my friend Sally to prepare the Onigiri which is Japanese Rice Ball.
finished with the restaurant service, then we cleaned up and prepared for tomorrow's menu which is European food, and I got the responsibilities to handle Spaghetti Bolognaise. at around 4 pm, we when did general cleaning until 6 pm and then Mr.Jaya told us to go home and rest. well, that is my blog for today, I hopped you enjoyed it, I will see you guys in the next blog.
