Final Practical

Final Practical - December 11th 2018

     Hey guys, welcome back to my practical week , well today is not like ordinary week this week is the last week for practical process for this semester. So we start today just like ordinary days, i woke up at 5 am and then went to campus at 6 am, then i arrived at 6.42 am, i arrived a little early today because we were told to come before 7 am. So i arrived at campus, then i wore my uniform, then i went to the main kitchen and prepare my ingredients.

     Today i got the oportunities to handle the sushi plater menu, and since i've prepared everything since sunday, i just need to cook some sushi rice and i prepared some filling like chicken breast and teriaki sauce. Today i was helped by Yusril. After preparing the filling and condiments , then i made tamagoyaki, by mixing 3:1 ratio of eggs and dashi then i cooked it in square pan and fold it 4 times to make layered eggs, then i sliced it 1 cm for the nigiri sushi.

     The time shows 11 am, i then started to plate the sushi, so i made the shrimp nigiri which is shrimp over rice with nori, tobiko which is rice wrapped with nori then topped with fish roe, gunkan maki which is just like tobiko but topped with chicken breast and teriaki sauce, then i made the tamagoyaki nigiri which is omelette over rice with nori. Then after i plated it i then went to mr.jaya to present my food.




     After finished then Mr.Faisal told us to clean up the kitchen because we have special guest from the ministry, after finished cleaning up, then he told me to make more sushi for the ministry, so i make every sushi then presented it on a piece of wood then the deputy came and she ate one of the sushi, and it is such a honor for us. Then we finished and we start doing general cleaning and finished at 6 pm and today is closed by mr.faisal with a short information.
