Equipment & Utensil #7

Equipment :

1. Waffle Iron / Waffle Press



Function : To cook waffle perfectly
Materials : metal, plastic, and non stick coating
Cleaning : clean the inside by wiping it with wet paper towel and the outside with paper                  towel and then wipe dry before next use


2.  Pasta Cooker

Function : To cook multiple pasta portions at once and also drain them
Materials : stainless steel with metal wire for the strainer
Cleaning : drain the used water and dispose , wash the inside with soap and water and                  clean the outside with soap and wet napkin , and clean the strainer with                        soap and water too, Hot water may used to remove excess flour or pasta
                 change the water everyday


3. Salamander


Function :  to cook food by using gratin method or heat from above only
Materials : stainless steel and heavy metal grill bar
Cleaning : Dispose the crumbs in the crumbs tray below the machine and clean the                        grill with brush and water, and clean the outside with damp paper towel

Utensils :

1. Rotisserie carving Knife


Function : to carve whole roasted chicken or any poultry or roasted meat
Materials : stainless steel , metal with plastic , wood or metal handle
Cleaning : Clean with soap and water and wipe dry before storing


2. Scimitar knife



Function : Cut meat, cooked or raw , or to fillet big fish or butcher beef
Materials : stainless steel with plastic handle
Cleaning : Wash with soap and water , and wipe dry before storage make sure no                           blood is left in the blade


3. Rice Colander



Function :  to cool down cooked rice or to serve them to customer
Materials : metal or alumunium
Cleaning : clean with water and soap and make sure no rice leftover stuck in the hole                    and then wipe dry before next use
